Getting Started with Elluminate
NITLE offers access to multipoint interactive videoconferencing through Elluminate. Please contact your campus's NITLE liaison to find out how to access your institution's meeting space, which will be available through June 30, 2010. More information about the transition to Elluminate is available here.
First-Time Users
Getting started is easy.
- Go to http://elluminate.com/.
- Click Support (http://elluminate.com/support/index.jsp).
- Complete steps 1 and 2 to check your Java and audio setup.
- Complete one option listed under step 3 for a very light introduction to the tool.
Recommended Equipment:
- high-speed internet connection
- web video camera
- echo-free audio system (For hands-free use and quality sound, we recommend a USB head set.)

Moderators

- Review Getting Started with Elluminate Live! (19-minute recording) or Getting Started with Elluminate Live! for Moderators (.pdf) for an overview.

- Under "Elluminate Live! Tools," choose the modules you wish to explore further. Note that some modules are recorded and others are quick-reference guides.
