Eric leads NITLE's Technology Team, which supports NITLE’s programs and offices. He manages our technology infrastructure and needs, makes decisions about how best to meet those needs, and supports and directs the NITLE Tech Team to implement solutions. He serves as NITLE's liaison to Ithaka's Shared Services organization and advises senior staff regarding support implications of policy and programming decisions. He also identifies opportunities to strengthen the technology infrastructure and increase the efficiency of our operations. Eric serves as a resource for teaching specific skills to fellow staff and participants and provides consultation and recommendations to our host and partner organizations and others.

NITLE's Technology Manager, Eric holds a B.A. in Economics, a B.S. in Business Administration and a B.A. in Business from Truman State University. He has worked for Alexander Open Systems and the North Kansas City School District, installing and maintaining networking equipment and servers and developing software in PHP and MySQL. At Truman State, he worked as a web application developer and served on the committee that developed the institution's strategic technology plan. Before joining NITLE, Eric worked as a Technology Specialist at the Midwest Instructional Technology Center.

In his spare time, Eric travels, cycles (road), skis (downhill), hikes and keeps up to date with the world.
