Technology Fellows - Technologies for Teaching Languages

NITLE seeks an individual with experience in using technology to teach languages and cultures. This person would take a leading role with NITLE education initiatives relating to such technologies; specifically this person would assist NITLE and the community of NITLE participating campuses in areas such as

• designing and delivering training in technologies for teaching and learning languages
• finding and evaluating appropriate technologies (especially applications that are readily available, inexpensive and easy to use)
• web 2.0 for language teaching
• fonts, keyboards, etc.
• digital audio and video for language teaching

Applicants are expected to have some previous experience training faculty and others on using technology for language learning, as well as strong proficiency as a user. NITLE will also provide the Fellow with additional training. Training delivered would take place in either face-to-face workshops or online environments.
