Grace develops communications materials for NITLE, including the content for the website and newsletter. She manages the editorial process of Transformations, NITLE's on-line journal. Grant writing and reporting, public and media relations, and the development of outreach materials also fall under her purview.
NITLE's Communications Manager, Grace received a B.A. in English and Rhetoric from the University of Illinois and an M.A. from the University of Michigan. At Michigan, she taught courses in writing, literature, and women's studies. She served in program development at the Great Lakes Colleges Association and in community relations at SOS Community Services before coming to NITLE.
Off-hours, Grace rides her mountain bike along the trails of Washtenaw County, except during winter, which is cross-country skiing season.
