Internet2 and NITLE to Collaborate on Advanced Networking Applications for Liberal Arts Colleges
NITLE is working with Internet2 to explore how high-bandwidth, low-latency networks can advance NITLE/Internet2 campuses. High-definition, "tele presence" videoconferencing and remote instrumentation are example areas emerging in higher education that may also benefit the liberal arts sector.

Decapod and NITLE Collaborate on Low-cost, Portable Digitization
Our print materials are moving through digital workflows and into storage and distributon networks. Decapod promises to reduce costs for digitizing and also offer portability - a key need for humanities research as materials are dispersed. NITLE is working with Mount Holyoke College and James Gehrt, a Technology Fellow, to explore Decapod.
