The NITLE Network
The National Institute for Technology in Liberal Education (NITLE) provides a platform for liberal arts colleges to explore, evaluate, and implement emerging technologies. Our mission is to catalyze innovation to advance liberal education. We are centrally concerned with the integration of technology into teaching and learning, strategic approaches to managing technology infrastructure on small campuses, and the impact and implications of emerging technologies for liberal education.
The non-profit colleges, universities, and educational organizations that participate in the NITLE Network share a commitment to creative rich learning environments that prepare students to contribute, adapt, and thrive.

About NITLE
The mission of the college drives the future of NITLE. As a national organization focused on the liberal arts community and tradition, NITLE is uniquely situated to help craft inter-institutional collaborations in the exploration and implementation of emerging technologies.
By developing a faceted approach to the review of emerging technologies -- workshops (face to face and virtual), the NITLE Labs, and extended communities of practice -- NITLE is able to leverage the insights and expertise of the community in an extensible manner. NITLE is positioned to collect best practices as well as best-of-breed technologies.
